eFresh XP Client

eFresh XP turns your computer into a POS terminal for selling prepaid products. Any Windows PC can be used to connect with the eFresh Server using your current Internet connection or a dial up modem. Any Windows printer can be used for printing vouchers and reports including a PC receipt printers.

Installation and setup of the application is easy
Ensure your Windows updates are current
If your PC does not already have the Microsoft
.NET framework, install it using Windows Update (Select Optional Software Updates)
Run the setup.exe provided

When first run, the application will be in Off-line demo mode. This mode allows you to evaluate the application without connection to an eFresh Server and buying products.

Configuration of the application is done in the File, Setup menu.
Set printers for vouchers and reports
Set connection to TCP/IP Internet or Modem
Authenticate with the eFresh Server to enter Online mode so you can purchase prepaid products
Customize your voucher, if desired.

 

System Requirements
Hardware Any typical Windows computer with current Windows updates and the Microsoft .NET framework installed
Operating System Microsoft Windows 98 or better, Tested on Windows 98, 2000, XP and 2003
Communications TCP/IP over the Internet or Dial-up Modem
Printers Standard desktop printer, POS receipt printer, or even just view vouchers on display
On-line Purchases Requires a merchant account, terminal ID and UTK provided by your eFresh Network Provider


Selling

Purchasing a product on the eFresh system is easy. The diagrams on the right hand side of the page illustrate the process.
It is simple and requires no training. The clerk selects the product that the customers wish to purchase, the application then connects automatically to the eFresh Server to retrieve the PIN and finally the voucher is printed by the terminal.
 
Reporting and Management

Multiple reports can be run including the following:
Sales Clerk
Detailed
End of Day
Summary

Passwords can be controlled by the manager to create multiple clerk and manager access codes. Reports can then be created to show each clerk's activity.
 

 

Customizing

The eFresh XP interface can be changed easily using the included XML file. This allows you to customize the application for your market and customer.

The arrows on the images below highlight a few of the customizable items which include:

Title bar text, including hiding the title bar completely
Help text at bottom of screen, including hiding this text box completely
Text on all tabs, and hiding tabs that you do not wish to display
Links and link description on Links tab
Help and contact information on the Help tab
Default eFresh Server connection details
Default product file
